Summary Transfected BT-474 with pMaxGFP in order to establish a baseline level of transfection efficiency. Method See the Mammalian cell transfection protocol. Three wells of a 6-well plate were seeded with BT-474 cells at approximately 2.5E5 cells/well density. Cultures were ~70% confluent at time of transfection. Plasmid used for transfection is pMaxGFP. Plasmid amount was 2 µg per well. Plate was returned to the incubator after transfection. Next Steps Tomorrow, measure transfection efficiency via fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry.
