Modeling Meeting

FBA analysis in E. coli and R. etli

We have both S, so it is possible to add the reactions that our heterologous expression would produce. These analysis would help us to determine to what extent the system is affected (shadow cost)


  • pyruvato ↔ acetyl-CoA + e- (PFOR)
  • 2H+ + 2e- ↔ H2 (HydA)

In order to add the new reactions we idenfied the metabolities already present in S.
