06.11.2011After being left overnight, the gold/copper solutions were placed in plastic centrifuge tubes and centrifuged at 13,200 rpm for 5 minutes at room temperature. The supernatant was removed and the pellets were resuspended in 5mL deionized water. The centrifugation was repeated and the pellets were again resuspended in 5mL of water. 0.6mL of the solutions of nanoparticles was added to 6mL of zein solution and then plated on 9cm plastic petri dishes. | |
