Method

Use this protocol: E. coli Transformation

We had 5 tubes to get 5 plates. Tubes 1-4 are the same reactions from here. Tube 5 contained no DNA. The hope is tubes 1,2, and 5 will have no colonies, while tubes 3 and 4 should have a bunch. I need to wait a day to find out.

Results: Updated from 3/10/09

Sadly I received word from Kelly that our ligation reaction didn't work. I'll have to digest some more gDNA and plasmid DNA and try to do it all over again.
