Paper Reading Day Koch gave me two papers about bidirectional promoters in yeast, believing they may confirm our beliefs about the nature of Pol II and our unzipping of it. I am deeply passionate about this research for several reasons. First I get to pioneer a field, and second I believe that there are a ton of questions that can be solved with even the smallest amount of experiments performed.
