## Buffer Practice & Reaction Redo

Today phosphate and Tris buffers were prepared. The buffers were titrated to specific pHs, and the conductivity was tested. The procedure can be found here. The calculations can be shown below:

${\displaystyle {\frac {121.14g}{mol}}|{\frac {.01mol}{1L}}|{\frac {.500L}{1}}=0.6057g}$ of Tris was used to create a 500mL stock of Tris buffer.

For the creation of the phosphate buffer, this link was used to determine the amount of sodium phosphate (dibasic) and sodium phosphate (monobasic) needed for a 500mL stock.

Additionally, the gold + lysozyme reaction from the previous day was redone, as only 4/16 worked. We redid the other 12.
