Tasks for November 21 To measure absorbance of malachite green dye by synthesised beads Measuring absorbance of MG by beads 0.1 g (containing 0.01 of NaMT) were added to 2 scintillation vials and 10 mL of MG dye were added. A measurement was taking at 5 min, and after 5 min at 1 min intervals. Since after 30 min, the solution doesn't need dilution, more measurements can be taken if the sample is quickly put back into the scintillation vial. UV-Vis measurements were taken in the range 200-800 nm.
