Tasks for February 20 To filter and analyze the yield for the reaction that Dr. Hartings set up for me on 18/02 Filtration and analysis of products Initial weight of weighing paper= 0.06722 g <br. > Final weight of weighing paper = 0.06853 g Yield=0.00131/0.5= 0.26% The products were filtered using distiller water, followed by acetone and methanol. It is suspected that this technique is now appropriate because acetone was seen to dissolve the product (black polyaniline).
