Project Description

  • Determine differential phosphorylation in brain proteins of NTG stimulated/unstimulated CK1-delta mutant and wt mice.

Project Members

A collaboration between the Bates and Prince Labs.

Current Objectives

  • Determine best method for mouse brain harvest
  • Determine best TiO2 column to buy (or other method?)
  • Establish/understand what work has been done on mouse brain proteomics/phosphoproteomics before.
    • how many proteins? how many phosphosite/phosphopeptides/phosphoproteins?
    • was it quantitative?
  • How successful are trypsin digest with O18 for quantitation?
    • What software has been used to quantify O18 differences?
