Deepak Nagrath, Ph.D.

Institute of Biosciences and Bioengineering

Deepak Nagrath is an Assistant Professor in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at Rice University. He also holds a joint appointment in Bioengineering. He received his B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of technology, Roorkee, India in 1992, M.S. in Applied Mathematics from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York in 2000, and a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York in 2003. He then conducted postdoctoral studies from 2003-2006 and was a research associate from 2007-2009 at the Center for Engineering in Medicine at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Shriners Burns Hospital.
