Wednesday 25th August: Gel electrophoresis[[1]] was carried out on the digested pgaA promoter but the band was too faint to be extracted. Attempted PCR of the BarA gene from DH5-alpha WT. Gel electrophoresis [[2]] was then carried out on the PCR products. However the results shown bellow suggests PCR was unsuccessful.
