  • Ran restriction digests to identify good colonies in possibly contaminated plates
    • Simultaneously ran suffix insertion digest (Xba1 + Pst1) in the event that the colonies contain ligation product
    • I741005 + E0240, I741005 + B0015, I741015 + B0034, I741015 + E0240, I741017 + B0034
  • Found chronic source of contamination: tainted SOB supply
    • Proposed fixes: don't pre aliquot SOB into falcon tubes, plate SOB in the future on
