User talk:Michael A. Speer
Hi Mike, nice additions to Agarose gel electrophoresis consensus protocol. Would be great to have that as an image. I saw something similar once in the Roche LabFAQ but the image is copyrighted. See you around on OWW, --Jakob 06:31, 29 June 2009 (EDT)
Andy Maloney 17:20, 6 April 2011 (EDT): I'm not sure how this occurred but your page on lactococcus transformation has over written my talk page http://www.openwetware.org/wiki/User_talk:Andy_Maloney/Kinesin_%26_Microtubule_Page
If you click the link, it is going to take you to your page and not to my page. Is there a reason as to why you moved the lactococcus page to my talk page? Do you know how to fix it?
- My page seems to be functioning fine. There's nothing in the code or the name of the page that seems unusual and all the links to it are legit. Seems like the problem lies with your page. Also, the insinuation that I did this on purpose is unappreciated. -- Mike
- Steve Koch 23:17, 6 April 2011 (EDT): Looks like it was just a buggy robot that did it, Andy. Thanks for fixing it, Mike! And I'm pretty sure Andy wasn't insinuating anything. He was just in the middle of editing his dissertation and surprised / confused by the overwrite.
- Michael A. Speer 09:24, 7 April 2011 (EDT): No problem Andy. I'm Glad things worked out. After I saw all the comments that were on your talk page I understood why it was probably a bigger deal than if, let's say, one of my talk pages was eliminated. Good luck.
- Andy Maloney 18:44, 7 April 2011 (EDT): Ha! Don't say that. Everything you do is important and especially if it is done in the open. I'm glad it got fixed. I guess it really didn't matter too much as I was able to find a cached version of it on Google. Sorry if I came across as being a tool.
