Steve Koch 00:02, 2 June 2009 (EDT): Great summary, Brigette! It reminded me of a couple things:

  • We should get some NDs for our old and our new microscope. Andy can help you find these part numbers (maybe)
    • Also, we need to check on the status of the microscope order--can you please remind me and we'll go ask Tamara tomorrow?
  • We should look into getting an electronic shutter for the fluorescence illumination. This can be synchronized with the camera and is a great way of reducing photobleaching in time-lapse images. I think Andy and Larry have looked into this in the past, but it was before we had funding.
