popularity "contest"

Dear Bill, is there any (lets hope simple...) way to have popularity count ("This page has been accessed 178 times.") included in a list, i.e. ? Best, darked 09:33, 10 December 2007 (CST)

I noticed the way it's done on Wikiomics. We use s custom recentchanges extension but I know the info is still available. I'll look at it when I get in. My battery is about to die!

This will only show the number of edits and not the number of reads: caching isn't a big issue but I just don't think the info is tracked. A better way to track usage is via Google Analytics, out current use tracking solution. I can set you up with access if you want to see how often the pages are being read there.
