Objective

Description

Part 1: Filtration with different kinds of film

  • Film 1: 0.5g PVOH, gluteraldehyde (1ml)
  • Film 2: NaMT PVOH
  • Use 20 ml of CuSO4 during each filtration.
  • Filtration done with 3 different timings. 10 minutes, 30 minutes and 1 hour.

Part 2

  • DSE measurement for

1) 0.5g PVOH, gluteraldehyde (1ml)

2) 0.5 g PVOH (100000)+HCl+ Succinate acid

3) 0.5 g PVOH (22000)+ 3 ml water + Mallic acid + phosphoric acid

4) 1 g PVOH (22000) + phosphoric acid + Mallic acid

Data

Porphyrin film with 2 drops of HCL, prepared on 24/10/2012

  • Before cross-linking
  • The film shrunk and look more brittle.
  • More intense green color.
