Objective

Description

Part 1

  • Place the porphyrin film (with 2 drops of HCL), prepared on 24/10/2012, into a 6 molality of NaCl with 100ml of HPLC water.
  • Place the NaCl solution in to a hot plate and wait until temperature raises to 70C.
  • At 70C place the film into beaker.

Part 2

  • FTIR measurement for every film that has been prepared.

Data

Porphyrin film with 2 drops of HCL, prepared on 24/10/2012

*Before cross-linking

  • The film shrunk and look more brittle.
  • More intense green color.

*After cross-linking

  • The film expanded a little.
  • Less intense green color and looked more reddish brown.
