PLA Film

  • Make Polylactic acid (PLA) film with MOF-5 that was made here.

Protocol

  1. 0.1 %, 0.5 %, 1.0 %, 5.0 %, 10 % and 0 % w/v.
    1. 0.1 % - 0.9993 g PLA, 0.0013 g MOF-5, 10 mL dichloromethane
    2. 0.5 % - 0.9951 g PLA, 0.0052 g MOF-5, 10 mL dichloromethane
    3. 1.0 % - 0.9904 g PLA, 0.0099 g MOF-5, 10 mL dichloromethane
    4. 5.0 % - 0.9497 g PLA, 0.0495 g MOF-5, 10 mL dichloromethane
    5. 10.0 % - 0.9000 g PLA, 0.9899 g MOF-5, 10 mL dichloromethane
    6. 0 % - 0.999 g PLA, 10 mL dichloromethane
  2. XXXXX each sample in a plastic vial until dissolved completely.
  3. Once dissolved, poured into molds to set.

Note
