These yeast images were taken using DIC settings at 100x.  No binning was used to obtain the maximum resolution from the microscope.  In both images the yeast have been grown in YEPD for 16-18 hours and resuspended in YPGO for a further 24 hours.

Graduate work

The first year of my PhD was spent learning more about synthetic biology in Chris Frenchs Lab in Edinburgh. I am currently working in Pam Silvers lab in the department of systems biology at Harvard.
