I am a sophomore at MIT, majoring in Biological Engineering and Anthropology.
My name is Kay Aull (aka Katherine Aull).  I am a PhD student at UCSF, in the Bioinformatics program. My research interests focus on methods development for systems and synthetic biology.

I graduated from MIT in 2008, with the first undergraduate class in Biological Engineering.  Since then, I worked as a synthetic biologist at the startup Codon Devices, and as a technician in the [http://www.massgeneral.org/research/researchlab.aspx?id=1065 Fisher Lab] at MGH, a melanoma research group. I am also involved with the [http://diybio.org DIYbio] community.

About
