About me

I am interested in the evolution of regulatory networks in bacteria, and how horizontally acquired genes are integrated into those networks. In July 2010, I will be moving to the Biology Department of Harvey Mudd College as an Assistant Professor. I am currently a post-doctoral fellow with Tim Cooper at the University of Houston. From 2007 to 2009, I was a post-doc with Charles Dorman in the department of Microbiology at Trinity College, Dublin. I did my Ph.D. with Dan Dykhuizen in the Department of Ecology and Evolution at Stony Brook University, graduating in December, 2006. My undergraduate degree is from Pomona College.
