Reaction of OPD+H2O2 with Mb Catalyst in Acetonitrile Suspension

The procedurefor the reaction of OPD and H2O2 was followed using a Mb/Tris catalyst and an acetonitrile suspension. Like yesterday, the reaction was run in a beaker with a stir bar and the solution was filtered before taking a spectrum.

In addition reactions were run using Mb/Phosphate and Mb/Acetate in acetone suspension. Because the acetone corroded the plastic, samples 80mins-140mins are taken without filtering the sample.
