Spin Coater 3000

Since I am going to be using lipid molecules to coat surfaces, I decided to make a spin coating system. The idea is just what you think it is. Something spins, and holds the sample down. I used most of all the parts to my patented Spin Master Micro (seen below) which is something I made to easily get rid of the chloroform that the lipids come packed in. Except now, I made my own vacuum chuck.

I'm too tired to explain what I did right now so I made a movie and uploaded it to the KochLab Youtube channel.

Sometime in the future I will make an Instructables for it. I can't wait to see if it really works for lipid coating.
