Objective

Prepare films with the addition of gluteraldehyde

Description

Repeated gluteraldehyde film prep using procedure from 9/11/12 and adding 1mL glutaraldehyde instead of 0.25mL. A second glutaraldehyde film was prepared in the same manner except 20% of PVOH was replaced with PDMS. In additon, 1L of the glutaraldehyde fixant solution was prepared for future analyses. 500mL 20ppm CuSO4 and 500mL 20ppm Na2SO4 were also prepared and the exchanged clay mixtures were filtered and dried.
