Christin Pramudiati Hollis graduated from Frateran Catholic High School in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. After a year experience of co-op in ISP Chemical, Inc., she graduated from the University of Kentucky with magna cum laude in Chemical Engineering. During her undergraduate study, under the guidance of Dr. J. Zach Hilt, they successfully developed a patented polymer-based (PLGA) drug delivery system for Crohn's disease. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, working with Dr. Tonglei Li to formulate anticancer drug in the form of nanocrystals. It is hypothesized that this novel drug delivery form will be able to by-pass the solubility and stability problems that are being faced by current chemotherapy formulations.
