| Tanja Reuter was a DFG postdoctoral fellow from 2001-2002. Tanja
| |
| performed studies that were an essential foundation for the
| |
| development of the Xenopus model for Fanconi anemia. Following her
| |
| postdoctoral fellowship in the Hoatlin Lab she became a Staff
| |
| Scientist at DeveloGen, a biotech company based in Germany. She is
| |
| currently a Group Leader at Merck KGaA, in the Cardio-Metabolic
| |
| Research Section. She directs the "New Concept Group", where she
| |
| identifies new ideas for potential therapeutic targets. She and her
| |
| husband Stefan, who is also a scientist, live in Germany with their
| |
| daughter, Nike, and a son, born in June 2007.
