Is there a reason that this protocol leaves out the common sodium acetate step (usually included to equalize ion concentrations)?  I'm also adding a flexibility section because for newbies that can be confusing.

removed flexnotes section as I've never used EtOH precip to get <80bp, and this protocol appears to address <40bp.
