Congratulate to Cecelia for assuming a faculty position at the Augustana College at Sioux Falls, SD. Cecelia, you've been such a wonderful colleague and always a source of happiness and encouragement. We'll all miss you and best wishes for your new lab!
In the same month, we also see off two other Kreitman lab members -- Levi Biase and Desiree Dickerson. Levi has started as a technician in the lab and over the two year period has contributed significantly to our new direction of fly models for diabetes. Desiree graduated from the college this year. After being an undergraduate research assistant with Cecelia, she has continued to do an honor's thesis work in the kreitman lab on the diabetes project. Congratulate both for getting to their next position and good luck for their future!
