We require a highly-motivated technician to work on a research programme that focuses on molecular biology of the malaria parasite and its mosquito vector. The person appointed will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of the laboratory and participate in ongoing research projects.

You should have previous work experience as a technician in a molecular biology laboratory, and have the ability to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and competence in molecular biology techniques. Additionally, you must have excellent verbal and written communication and basic computer skills. You should be able to work independently and also as part of the team.

This post is initially for 3 years with a possibility of extension dependent on circumstances at the time of review.
