We have three projects designed and we're working on running them in ''E. coli.'' Click on "Projects" for brief descriptions and references (more details will be posted on our iGEM wiki towards the end of the summer).  Our group is also interested in environmental biological engineering and we'll be pursuing additional projects throughout the summer. <br />
Our 2007 project is focused on energy biotechnology and is titled '''"Harvesting Plant Biomass and Sunlight to Power Butanol Biosynthesis: A Synthetic Biology Approach to Metabolic Pathway Engineering."''' More information about our project can be found at our official iGEM wiki, which you can get to by clicking the iGEM logo below. Please check out our other project designs by clicking the "projects" link listed below the iGEM logo.

===Planning===
We discussed relevant literature, brainstormed project ideas and planned for the summer during our weekly meetings throughout the spring semester.  Currently, we've stocked our lab with materials and supplies, and will start handling the bacteria tomorrow (5 June 2007).
