This is the wiki for the Molecular Biology course for ESEIG. The official language for this course and wiki is Portuguese.


A Biologia Molecular é o estudo da Biologia em nível molecular, com especial foco no estudo da estrutura e função do material genético e seus produtos de expressão, as proteínas. Mais concretamente, a Biologia Molecular investiga as interacções entre os diversos sistemas celulares, incluindo a relação entre DNA, RNA e síntese proteica. É um campo de estudo alargado, que abrange outras áreas da Biologia e da Química, em especial Genética e Bioquímica.


Escrevendo na Nature (1961) William Astbury descreveu a biologia molecular como sendo ...
