The Sweet Smell of.....E.coli?

We had a small presentation in class, where we presented our proposal and got suggestions and comments from other group and Axel. Considering those suggestion and comments we worked on our project. We found the chemical name of 'Vanillin' which is 4 Hydroxy-3-Methoxy Benzaldehyde. We also figured out the Biosynthetic pathway involved in Vanillin production. Red light sensitizes BBa-M30109 which phosphorylates ompR. ompR is an transcription factor which contains ompC, which acts as a promotor for vanillin production.
