User:Steven J. Koch/Notebook/Kochlab/2009/07/03/Feedback96 Completion of DAQmx conversion
Steve Koch 22:36, 3 July 2009 (EDT):Success in finally getting everything converted over to DAQmx! The footswitch was the final remaining thing, and in order to do it, I replaced the traditional DAQ stuff with DAQmx. In order to keep the same framework as before (a floating VI with shift registers), I create the task on the main block diagram, and then store the task in an uninitialized shift register on the block diagram of the footswitch VI.
Everything compiles, and "hold and take data" appears to work well with and without the footswitch. At this point, I'm confident that I can get at least "piezo ramp" working well before the deadline.
