Synthesis of Cobalt Mb Continuing the synthesis of Cobalt Mb. Added 100 mg of Co-PPIX to 2 mL of autoclaved 100 mM Phosphate buffer, along with 10 drops of 0.1 N NaOH. This was left to cool to 4°C. Following, it was added dropwise to the apoprotein and let react overnight.
