I am working in the Agriculture Research Center at Prairie View A&M University. I learned about OpenWetWare by presenting our research involving a device detecting low concentrations of metal at SynBERC 2008 at UC Berkeley. I've joined because I have become fascinated with the developing field of synthetic biology and would like to become a part of its growth. I have a passion for science, innovative creativity and I feel that synthetic biology may foster my ambition to explore the world around me..
