RBS characterization Research into how RBS is determined returned ambiguous results. Apparently, there are two standards, Elowitz’ and Weiss’. It appears this key point of efficiency is not yet characterized. That may benefit us if we manage to establish a correlation between promoter activation and ensuing PoPs.
