Project Description/Abstract

• This personal log is about my work in the iGEM 2010 project.
• I am involved in the Core for the Modelling section of the team, therefore most of my contributions are not centered on data-mining, but on team organization, and model refinement.
• The project is an effort to enable some form of communication between bacteria where the information is not encoded in a chemical signal throughout the entire communication event.

• Data-mining contributions are located on this, the Personal Log.
• Model refinement contributions are group based, thus they are located on the group page.
• This project was conceived in January 2010 and is expected to last until November of the same year.
• Other members of the Modelling Team are: Daniela García, Claudia Hernández, Fabricio López, and Amhed Vargas.
• Members of the WetLab Team are: Augusto Berrocal, Jorge Buendía, Mariana Ruiz-Velasco, and Jorge Zepeda.
• Our Advisors for this project are Fernando Montaño and Enrique Paz.
