Objective

To make a solution of AuNP/BSA fibers.

Description

1. Make a solution with an Au/BSA mole ratio = 166
2. Combine 1 mL of 3.66 mM HAuCl₄ and 1.27 mL of 0.0173 mM BSA in a test tube.
3. Dilute to 10 mL with water.
4. Place in oven at 80°C.
5. Leave solutions in oven for 3.5 hr.

Notes

It appeared that some of the AuNP in the AuNP solution began to condense out of solution after the addition of KNO₃ on 03/21/12.
