Hello, I am a graduate student in the Wilson Lab at The Scripps Research Institute.
Contents |
Research Interests
- Structure-function studies of hemagglutinin receptor specificity (H5N1 avian viruses, 2,3 vs. 2,6 sialic acids)
- Directed evolution/Display technology
- Synthetic biology
Education
B.A. in Biology, The University of Chicago
Past Lab Work
- Undergraduate honors thesis in Bernard Strauss's Lab, where we were investigating the coordination of DNA replication and cell division in E. coli.
- Year abroad at the University of Paris, working in the labs of Miroslav Radman and Masamichi Kohiyama on mismatch-stimulated killing and the localization of replication forks in E. coli.
- A "gap-year" in Michael Glotzer's Lab working on cytokinesis in mammalian cells.
