Remains of the Day

  • Steph redid the plates yesterday at 1:10 million and 1:100 million dilutions, and most grew enough today so I refridgerate them for her to count tommorow
  • Met and went to lunch with tree growers, discussing a bunch of experiments they're interested in. Basically George suggested we do 5 soil amendment treatments again, on 20 individual trees in pots. TBG will be one again.
  • Woohoo! The fungal PCR worked well this time with 40 cycles of PCR (see below) so proceeding with digestion with BstNI for submission tommorow.
