Remains of the Day Get liquid nitrogen, finish grinding leaf samples (leaf them back in -80), and repeat qPCR for PR1 gene expression in potatoes and tomatoes (on already made cDNA) - get John to do this Start trial for soil DNA extraction using 3 of each different bead type (3 different MP beads, plus Norgen tubes) - am doing with TBG #8 and will use 250 mg instead of 200 mg. Start putting references into grant to make it more scientific Look into requirements for NSERC write up.
