The Daily Grind Washing the red mud today with Calcium Sulfate (25 g / 250 g mud) and phosphoric acid (25 ml / 250 g mud). Also added 1.5 L of tap water, and shaking at room temp for 2 hours. Will filter it then and dry and add this or terra preta to autoclaved sand/vermiculite. Autoclaving sand/vermiculite today (will do two autoclaves - the mix will be 2 sand: 1 vermiculite). For red mud, will be 4:2:1 sand:vermiculite:red mud. I expect for terra preta, I will use 2:1:3 sand:vermiculite:terra preta.
