Dilutions and PCR

Start time: 6:30pm

Measuring RNA Content Measurements taken using the ND-1000 Spectrophotometer Took 2+ measurements for each sample. If measurements varied by more than 1 ng/μL then a third measurement was taken. Averages are listed below. Dilution Factor was estimated based on content. Experience shows that a dilution is not exactly representative of the RNA concentration.

   0-2 = no dilution
   2-5 = 1:1.5 diluion
   5-10 = 1:2
   10-20 = 1:5
   20 - 50 = 1:10
   50-200 = 1:20
