What we need

1. water bath
2. incubator
3. shaker and platform with appropriate holders
4. LB media
5. Chemicals - IPTG, X-gal, Ampicillin, tetracycline, etc
6. Glassware - test tubes, beakers, etc.
7. Burner and gas source or some sort of fire creater
8. Scrapers - wire loops, wood sticks
9. glass beads
10. competent cells
11. plasmid DNA
12. centrifuge and tubes
13. ice and buckets or laptop cooler

What we have

1. Shaker
2. LB broth
3. IPTG
4. some glassware
5. competent cells
6. plasmid
7. centrifuge and tubes
8. laptop cooler, ice, buckets, crusher
9. for wood sticks I can use the other end of the giant q-tips we have, they are sterile
