Kinectin, a Major Kinesin-binding Protein on ER

Notes

  • They note that myosin will bind directly to lipid membranes.
  • Something called SUK-4 will bind to kinesin motor domains.
  • The paper is about finding a membrane protein that is 160 kDa and will bind to kinesin for vesicle transport. They called this protein, kinectin.
