1-Pentanol Reactions were run using procedure outlined on Nov 21 2014 Done Today: Pentanol KCl + protein in Phosphate Protein+KCl in Tris KCl+no protein in Phosphate No protein+no KCl For this next reaction and all reactions to follow, the concentration of OPD was modified. This was done with the hopes of developing a Michaelis-Menten curve. A solution of 1 mg OPD per 1 ml solvent was produced. 1 ml of that was taken, and placed in 9 ml of solvent. 2.025 ml of the dilute solution was then used for the reaction in the Ocean Optics.
