I work in the Rodaway Lab at King's College London. I learned about OpenWetWare from Google search (I was looking for some E. coli genotypes), and I've joined because I've got some PCR tips and a (better and cheaper than ' Quikchange') site-directed mutagenesis protocol I'd like to share..
Education
- 1992, PhD, Imperial Cancer Research Fund and Imperial College London UK
- 1987, B.A. (Zoology), Cambridge University, UK
Research interests
- The embryonic development of the blood and vasculature. To study this I use the zebrafish (Danio rerio)
- Transposon based techniques for transgenesis
- Using recombination in E. coli to make recombinant molecules: 'recombineering' and recombinational cloning
