Overview

• Formate concentrations can be measured using formate dehydrogenase.
• As formate is converted to CO², NAD+ is reduced to NADH and A340 increases.
  • Janet has seen excellent linearity between V_max and mM formate down to about 0.1mM formate.

Steps =

1. Prepare buffer
   1. make extra buffer to freeze so you don't have to re-make it in the future.
2. Make formate standard(s)
3. Dissolve NAD+
4. Dissolve FDH
5. Test linearity
