Chlorophyll extraction
Modified from Richardson et al. 2002
1) Pre-weigh collection tubes, with grinding beads
2) After tissue collection on N2, reweigh collection tubes
3) Pre-warm DMSO to 65°C in glass bottle
4) Grind samples on dry ice and spin down
5) Add 500μL warmed DMSO and vortex
6) Incubate at 65°C for 30min
7) Spin down at 13k for 5min
8) Dilute 1/10 with DMSO (Final volume 200 μL)
9) Measure at 645nm, 663nm, 750nm
10) Process results as described in Richardson et al. - Remember to subtract 750nm from other values
