June 10th, 2011 Obtained many supplies and protocols from Dr. Kozminski’s lab: yeast transformation protocol, dropout solutions, synthetic complete solution, protocols for how to prepare specific media, plasmid map of [INSERT STRAIN NAME], plate of yeast [INSERT STRAIN NAME] streaked on YPD plate and placed it in 25C incubation, strain of E Coli containing yeast plasmid backbone streaked on LB plate and placed it in 37C incubation. Obtained a few other chemicals and lab supplies from our lab manager, Kay.
